How to use ChatMeld
Start by downloading and opening the app, then choose the chat language, the radius, and the access mode. After that, talk in the right context with no extra steps.
1. Download and open
Download ChatMeld, open the app, and go to the first screen. That is where you get to chats and settings.
2. Choose a chat language
Pick the language you want to read and write in for this chat. After you choose it, you only see chats in that language, and it becomes the chat language for the room.
3. Set the radius
When you create a chat, set the radius from your location. It defines who can see the chat through geolocation.
4. Choose the access mode
Geo chats are visible to people nearby, but the exact creation point and creator identity are hidden. Wi-Fi chats are visible only to people on the same network. Hybrid chats are available to people who are either within the radius or connected to that same Wi-Fi network.
5. Use nicknames and direct mentions
Every chat gives users colored numeric nicknames, and they are always different across chats. Tap a nickname to insert it into the input field and address someone directly. The message will be highlighted for the recipient as a personal one. Press and hold a message to open the moderation menu.
6. Turn on translation if you need it
If your plan includes translation, open the chat in the language of conversation and type in your own language. The other user receives it translated into their language, and you see replies translated back into yours.
